How to use TikCountry: check a TikTok account's country

Updated September 9, 2026 · ~3 min read

TikCountry is built to do one thing well: tell you what country a TikTok account is from, straight from a username. This short tutorial walks through every step so you can check any public account's country, region and stats in about ten seconds — no login, no app, and completely free.

Step 1 — Open TikCountry

Go to tikcountry.com in any browser, on your phone or computer. There's nothing to install and no account to create.

Step 2 — Enter a username

Copy the TikTok handle you want to check — the name after the @, for example @charlidamelio — and paste it into the search box at the top of the page. You can include the @ or leave it out; both work. In a hurry? Tap one of the example accounts under the search bar to try it instantly.

Step 3 — Press Look up

Hit the Look up button. You'll see a short scanning animation while TikCountry reads the account's public data.

Step 4 — Read the result

In a couple of seconds you get a full card showing:

Step 5 — Share or check another

Use the share buttons to post the result, or copy the profile link. Want to compare creators? Just enter another username and look it up again — each search is independent.

TikCountry reads public data only. Private accounts don't expose their details, and if a field like the join date isn't returned for an account, you'll see a dash instead of a made-up value.
